About GBASPC
The Gifted Education Council (GEC) is a charitable organization which has served the Hong Kong community through gifted education since 1988. The mission of the GEC is to promote gifted education and nurture gifted children. GEC founded G.T. (Ellen Yeung) College in 1996. The recent development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) into a hub of global technological innovation in our country provides a precious opportunity for greater connectivity, as well as exchange and collaboration among young talents on innovation and technology in the GBA. To live out this vision, GEC is honoured to announce the launching of the Greater Bay Area Science Project Competition (GBASPC) 2022.
The competition aims to enhance the interest and passion of secondary school students in science and technology to address global challenges and to connect talented young scientists in the GBA to exchange their knowledge and showcase their innovative ideas. This competition has received enormous support from professors in different tertiary institutions and professionals from science and technology research institutes.
We truly hope that the event would build a network of young science talents in the GBA and connect them with leading science professionals to inspire them to be the next generation of innovators and leaders. We are convinced that the positive impact on science and gifted education will be beyond measure.
